Day 3 of Photo Challenge- Fire

And so I begin my search for fire to photograph. As I thought about this, I was reminded that with a brother, nephew, and very good friend being firefighters, I really couldn’t shame them by having a fire get out of hand. I thought of candle fire or really pushing the creative envelope of the subject and photographing fire trucks or some fabric I have that reminds me of fire. Then I remembered some photos I had taken of some tulips that remind me of flames.

I must confess that I did not take this photo today. The tulips are a little late this year. I am looking forward to photographing them again soon.

  1. How creative and absolutely beautiful! I’ve never seen tulips like that before. So pretty!

Thanks Angie. Guess I should have done candles like everyone else. I did take a little creative latitude.

  3. I had no idea that not only you but another Oregon blogger is taking part in the photo challenge! I could visit at the tulip field all day but alas now I have two little ones to chase around and they probably wouldn’t be as careful as to tip toe through the tulips. hehe
